Massage Questions

Do I need to remove all of my clothes?

No. We request that clients leave their underwear for their own comfort and their therapists’. Remove clothing to your level of comfort only.

Will it hurt?

It shouldn't. Please let your therapist know how you feel about the level of pressure being given. It is helpful for the therapist and makes it a better massage experience for you. Give the massage therapist complete and accurate health information and let him or her know your needs.

What should I do if I experience discomfort?

Tell your massage therapist any discomfort, whether it is regarding the amount of pressure, room temperature, or lighting.

Do I need to talk?

Some people like to talk during a massage session, while others remain silent.

What if I fall asleep?

Some people do fall asleep. If you do, your massage therapist will wake you at the end of your session.

Do I need to leave immediately after my massage?

Sit up slowly and sit on the table until you feel steady enough to get dressed. Drink plenty of water after your massage.

Waxing Questions

How long does the hair need to be?

Hair needs to be 1/4 inch long before waxing.

How long will results last and how often should I be waxed?

Everyone is different, but on average, you can expect 3 to 5 weeks of hair-free skin. We recommend waxing every 4 weeks to get on a growth cycle that gives the best results.

Will I feel uncomfortable after waxing?

Slight redness and small bumps are common temporary reactions, particularly if it is your first wax. Many people find that regular waxing results in less irritation.

Are there any conditions that will prevent me from getting waxed?

You cannot wax if you are currently using Accutane, Retin-A, Renova, or Differin. These medications tend to weaken the skin, and tearing of the skin may occur.

Hair Questions

How often should I get my haircut?

Every 6 to 8 weeks for long hair and 4 to 6 weeks for shorter hair. Sometimes, sooner is recommended depending on your hairstyle.

How long does color last?

Color should last for 4 to 6 weeks, while highlights should last for 6 to 12 weeks. To ensure maximum longevity, use shampoo and conditioner designed for optimal color protection. Always consult your stylist. Color requires extra care to maintain vibrancy and shine.

What color line do you use?

We use Matrix color, as well as Paul Mitchell and Matrix lightener.
